Bake Off's Lizzie gets hilarious tattoo of the judges critiques

"If ye say it, ye do it."

The Great British Bake Off contestant Lizzie has proved to be a woman of her word after she got a hilarious tattoo inspired by the judges' comments.

The baker took comments by Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood to heart, after telling her that she lacks finesse, and so has gone and had the word permanently inked on her body.

During last Tuesday's (November 2) tricky Caramel Week, the Liverpudlian had casually hinted at getting a "finesse" tattoo. It looks like she did follow through with her proposition with a cute ankle ink.

"No finesse, again. Flavour, no finesse," Lizzie lamented in the tent after Prue said her Titanic-themed 'My Tart Will Go On' tart looked "rough and ready" before commending her for the flavours.

The baker and her co-star Freya – eliminated on October 19 after her vegan bakes left the judges cold – got matching Bake Off-inspired tattoos in the shape of a whisk. Lizzie chose the word "finesse" to be drawn in place of the whisk's handle, while Freya opted for the show's initials: GBBO.

Lizzie also explained the inks were hand-drawn by her sister Emily, captioning the post: "If ye say it, ye do it".

Despite risking her place in the tent with her underwhelming caramel creations, Lizzie was saved by the judges. She is now among the final five contestants to compete for the Bake Off title after George's elimination this week.

Ahead of the next challenges, it looks like Lizzie made sure she won't go in without an extra dose of finesse this time.

The Great British Bake Off airs on Tuesdays at 8pm Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
